Sitting in the Power Meditation (Extended Edition)
Sitting in the Power is a passive meditation and is one of the best things you can do to develop and attune yourself as a medium. Mat and Dana recommend Sitting in the Power at least 3-4/week, but doing every day is even better!
This unique rendition of this meditation is in long form which allows you to come out of the experience when you are ready, instead of being guided out. By using this meditation you’ll be able to build the time you are able to sit over time.
In this experience, Dana Willey guides you through the steps of understanding your own energy, locating your power center and then growing and expanding it. You will then be guided to invite in Source energy (Divine, God, Great Spirit) in to blend with yours. You will then move to allow yourself to be attuned and developed to become the best conduit for Spirit.
Allow yourself to become sensitive and feel all sensations during this meditation. It is normal to feel tingles, touches, sensations, nausea, emotions, itches, etc. Try not to move, itch or adjust during this meditation but to just experience what you feel.
It’s best to become passive to anything that you become aware of along the way. Just notice and let go. Let this be a time just for you, there is nothing you have to do in this meditation.
Sitting in the Power is also not a time to channel, but a time for you to take time for you.
We recommend journaling after each meditation.
